The ISC End of Season Tournament is intended to spread the joy of soccer throughout NKY and offer regional teams one more opportunity to play exciting and local Fall soccer! The tournament is designed for a variety of experience levels with open divisions that welcome teams of all experience levels.

In addition to the rules at the link above, please note that U8 players cannot score from their own half.
All players, parents and coaches are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible manner with respect for their teamates, opponents, coaches, and officials.
To this end, we will have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy pertaining to referee abuse and harassment or unsportsmanlike conduct toward other players, coaches, or parents. If this is violated by any one (coach, parent, player) that person will be asked to leave and not return to the tournament. Because opinion’s on what amount to abuse and harassment vary greatly, we are implementing the following rules. Please makes sure to share this information with your entire team.
1. Parents are absolutely not to say anything to any referee at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, things such as “come on!”, “call it both ways”, etc. Quite simply, no parent or other spectator should say anything at all to any referee. If parents are shouting at the referee, they will be asked to leave.
2. Coaches, similarly, should say very little other than “thank you” or “good game”. Coaches may question the referee on what a particular call was and/or ask for clarity. But this should never arise to the level of argument. If you disagree with the referee’s call, keep it to yourself, arguing is not going to change anything.
3. Players, Parents, and Coaches should not engage with members of opposing team in anyway other than to congratulate them on a good game. If you have concerns about the behavior of another player, coach or parent, please reach out to board@iscsoccer.org or locate a field marshall to register your concerns.
We strongly encourage everyone to offer their full support to our referees. Many of those giving their time this weekend to make this tournament possible are very young and inexperienced. They will absolutely make mistakes. If you experience a situation wherein a referee makes a mistake, please DO NOT discuss it with the referee. Rather, please find one of ISC’s board members and/or field marshals and discuss it with them. We will make sure that the referee learns from their mistake in a positive environment.
Remember, many of the participanjts this weekend, including referees, are our children, please treat them with the respect they deserve and the understanding they require.
Preliminary games:
1. No overtime periods will be played for Preliminary games.
2. Each team will be awarded three points for a win, one point for a tie, and no points for a loss.
3. In the event of ties in the group standing, the following procedure will determine the group winner:
4. Team with the most points won.
5. Winner of the game played between the tied teams. (If three or more teams are tied for the group lead, Step 2 is by-passed, go to Step 3).
6. Highest number of total NET goals (goal differential). Maximum goal differential per game is three (3).
7. Fewer total goals allowed.
8. KICKS from the Mark
Finals Championship games:
1. Ties at the end of regulation will result in two 5-minute overtiime periods being played with a 1 minute break inbetween.
2. KICKS from the Mark ELIMINATION (FIFA laws): When Final matches are still tied after overtime the FIFA laws of the game for KICKS from the Mark apply.
1. If the first half has not been completed and the game is stopped, every effort will be made to complete the game, or play to completion of at least the first half and record the score as final.
2. Games shall be considered completed if the first half has concluded. The score at the stoppage of play will be the final game score.
3. If a game is suspended due to weather problems, field conditions or other situations beyond the tournaments control, each team’s head coach must stay in contact with their site’s tournament headquarters for further instructions go to your car but DO NOT LEAVE THE SITE. Game playing time may be decreased, or games may be concluded at the point of interruption, if necessary.
